One of the latest to join the ranks is the Cruiser 2.0, a motorhome from none other than LMC Caravan, a crew that’s been active in the industry for 70 years this year. So, to celebrate this milestone, they’ve hit the market with all they have.
Yet, what’s extremely important to note about the Cruiser 2.0 is that it was created and designed by LMC based on feedback from their actual clients, real RVers, and frankly, this shows in the layout and the ease with which you can move about a space, store your goods, and literally live your life, but on the road.
Overall, the new Cruiser is available in three layouts, four if we count the current 70th anniversary edition. But, no matter which of the ones you choose, they all come in with the same chassis, and more or less the same width and length.
Yet, my favorite layout is the 750 EL, and for a couple of good reasons. One of the first is that this fresh layout does have a video accompanying it, completed by the YouTube channel miniCampers (A big « thank you! » goes out to this team); be sure to check out that video as well. I’ll be talking about this layout, but be sure to check out the other three, as you may find them more to your liking.
At the heart of this RV sits a Fiat with a 103 kW (138 hp) engine, boasting a maximum payload capacity of 3,500 kg (7,716 lbs), which is the limit in Europe for driving an RV without needing to upgrade or change your driver’s license class in any way.
